From The Blockheads Wiki

Hi, I'm abcboy. You can find me on the Blockheads forums, and quite a few other places as well. I'm also here, so you can also just contact me here.

This obviously isn't the place to tell my life story, so I'll be instead telling my blockheads' life story.

It was the midst of January. I was surfing the App Store for some new apps. And of course, the Blockheads was up at top that day. Soon after, I joined the Blockheads forums. What followed was one of the greatest experiences with a game I've ever had. Most apps on my iPad are played constantly for about two months, and then they just stop being played. But this one, this one, has been played on and off for over nine months.

In the beginning, I never used tools. Why? They end up breaking. Why make something that ends up breaking if you have an infinitely durable multipurpose tool? Eventually, I realized that pickaxes wouldn't end up being a waste of stone. (esp. since pickaxes mine stone, which leads to more pickaxes)

So...yeah. That's pretty much it. I'm also an admin here, in the case that...matters for some reason.

If you see my username a lot on the recent changes, then I'm probably using AWB.

To-do list

  • Check and redo all GIFs that are of low quality
  • Upload wanted files
  • De-capitalize "blockhead" when not used in reference to the title of the game
  • Reupload transparent versions of large item icons
  • Upload transparent HD item icons

Update procedures

All updates

Check App Store and Google Play Store occasionally for new updates.

On release of new update, update:

Major updates

  • Add new items: Items
  • Create pages for new benches
  • Update benches for any changes
  • Update Trade Portal: Trade Portal
  • Update all relevant list pages: Fruit, Seed, etc.
  • Create pages for new items
  • Upload images for new items
  • Update all remaining relevant pages

Nuggets of wisdom

  • Treat all new updates as you would if writing about a past update. Don't say, "In the new update, the new benches were added." Say "In version 1.6, the refinery and electric sluice were added."
TLDR: new

Testing code

I'm confused...

A random-ish integer from 1 to 100: Expression error: Unrecognized punctuation character "[".

Maybe this wiki doesn't even need these! I really don't know.
