Platinum nuggets is a ore that was introduced in the version 1.6 update that is rarer than gold.

Appearance

Platinum has a rainbow color to it which is distinguishable from other ores in all forms.

In underground deposits, it has three large, light colored intrusions.

Where Found

Platinum occurs very rarely underground. It can also be produced from gravel using an electric sluice or purchased at a trade portal.

Platinum ore is said to be rarer than titanium from experienced players; However, it is worth around a third as much as titanium ore at the trade portal.

Crafting

Three platinum nuggets can be crafted into an ingot at an electric furnace.
