I'd be interested in what happens if two players double-team a troll, one to lure it away, the other to steal the chest and torches. Would the troll return to the empty space? --McClaw (talk) 09:12, 16 October 2013 (MDT)

With trolls unable to pass through a one-block-high gap, I wonder if an "arrow slit" would make a good tactic? --McClaw (talk) 20:12, 22 October 2013 (MDT)
But anyway, yes the Cave Troll would return to the empty space. And it takes a lot of hits with a bow to kill one - it's been reported to be around one full bow gets used when killing them. So… if you are willing to use that many bows/arrows, it would probably work. --ErickMatrix (talk) 01:00, 23 October 2013 (MDT)
There should be a button labeled ”edit" right next to it. On other pages, it lets you edit the entire page at once. --Abcboy (talk) 13:24, 23 October 2013 (MDT)

They swim, like a blockhead would do. They can drown, but it takes a long time. @abcboy I thought there was another way. Huh, oh well. Fine with me I s'pose.
Tried a bow attack, using ladders to inch across to an overhead / out of reach position above it. Used up the whole bow and it still took several strokes from an iron sword to finish the bum. I'll need to carry multiple bows. --McClaw (talk) 05:50, 26 October 2013 (MDT)
