Titanium ore was introduced in version 1.6.

Appearance

Titanium ore is shaped very much like other ores once in inventory. It's darker in color, mostly shades of gray, and doesn't have bright metallic highlights.

When found unmined underground, it has three large, gray/green intrusions in its block.

Where Found

Titanium ore is found within 200 blocks of magma and it spawns in small deposits. It is acquired by mining and rarely (and randomly, about 0.5% per attempt) using an electric sluice.
