It's looking like we'll need to correct at least some of the pickaxe values. As the 1.6 update description says, "Mining/digging speed with bare hands and primitive tools is now faster". --[[User:McClaw|McClaw]] ([[User talk:McClaw|talk]]) 17:07, 28 September 2015 (MDT)

Hand Mining

Had an interesting incident when getting the "Hand / Tin Ore" stat. The Blockhead ran down his Energy Bar (but not Happiness, as he had the Grass Skirt), making it easier to count strikes. The count was 999, so unless I lost track of 25 strikes, there may be a three-digit limit involved. But what really surprised me was when the Tin Ore was harvested -- the Blockhead "collapsed from exhaustion." Or maybe that aborted/harvested the ore? --McClaw (talk) 06:55, 19 March 2013 (MDT)

My long-count procedure may need work. I got "1004" strikes when hand-mining copper ore. --McClaw (talk) 12:27, 19 March 2013 (MDT)

1.3 Update Items

Iron Block, Tin Block and Steel Block need to be added also all 5 new blocks need info on the amount of hits--Craig.Davison (talk) 04:27, 14 July 2013 (MDT)

"Pickaxe" is getting rather wide. It might work better if we separate "natural" blocks from those that have to be crafted. --McClaw (talk) 06:41, 14 July 2013 (MDT)
Yes that is a good idea--Craig.Davison (talk) 11:45, 14 July 2013 (MDT)
Okay I have made two duplicate tables with different headings but have yet to separate the types of block.--Craig.Davison (talk) 11:59, 14 July 2013 (MDT)

Going to be really hard to complete

Don't forget that you can mine anything with anything. You can mine stone with a spade, you can mine wood with a spear, etc. --Abcboy (talk) 16:31, 26 July 2013 (MDT)

1.6 Update

It's looking like we'll need to correct at least some of the pickaxe values. As the 1.6 update description says, "Mining/digging speed with bare hands and primitive tools is now faster". --McClaw (talk) 17:07, 28 September 2015 (MDT)
