Basic Torch: Difference between revisions

Basic torches may be used as a light source. They may be placed on the top or side of solid [[blocks]], or on backwall. Light will travel for approximately nine blocks from a torch. However, many torches are needed for lighting up large structures such as a [[cave]] or a large building. Since torches emit only a small amount of light, a [[blockhead]] must be standing directly on it to maintain its [[Happiness Bar|happiness]] in a dark area.
