Portal Chest: Difference between revisions

Portal chests do not occur naturally; they must be crafted. This requires access to a [[diamond]] [[portal]] and several [[items]].

Placing an [[Items|item]] inside a portal chest will earn the player the [[Achievements|achievement]] "[[Portal Chest (achievement)|Portal Chest]]."

All [[world]]s accessed on the same device share the same storage spaces and contents for portal chests, both single and multiplayer worlds. Placing an item in one makes it accessible from all others. This not only allows a [[blockhead]] to work with the same [[items]] in different locations within a world, but also for the player to instantaneously transfer items from one world to another. In each world, a portal chest first must be constructed within the world where it will be used.
