:I have noticed that it really all depends on which slot they are in in the inventory. I've been using the technique I highlighted on the Main Page Talk on capturing images. It is the quickest and easiest way and I don't have to fire up Photoshop. With the icon images, they have been 75x75 which is fairly small. They eventually get sized down on some of the tables to 25px. On the infoboxes they get resized to 40px. The problem I run into on occasion is when I try to align the image up, sometimes I get the shadow and sometimes I don't. When I don't get the shadow, it is because if I move the image any more to one side, I end up getting dead space or capture part of the slot next to it. The other side will have a huge shadow mark which doesn't look too good. Either way, when they are that small, you don't notice it one bit. ::Mine have been plain old screen captures. That lets me get multiples and a little copy/paste/save produces what I want. It also lets me fiddle with the selection if I miss something. But the icons end up just 40x40, and the blocks are 80x80 or a little less. (Hm, I wonder if I can paint a background wall and place some items against it for contrast...) --[[User:McClaw|McClaw]] ([[User talk:McClaw|talk]]) 09:58, 26 February 2013 (MST)

::: If they are that size, that should be fine. I don't think we will ever go higher than that for the icons or blocks. I think I chose the 75x75 for the icons because when I cropped the very first one, it came out about that size. So it stuck. Of course the 75x75 doesn't quite fit properly and look good with the templates so that is why it gets resized down to 40px. Just remember, you can make the images any size bigger than what we have been using. You can always size down and not lose resolution.
