Appearance
Copper blocks have a red-orange color and a metallic texture.
Crafting
Since copper blocks do not occur naturally, you must craft them. Copper blocks are crafted via a level 1 or higher metalwork bench, using five copper ingots.

Bronze Blocks are metal blocks that are harder to break than Tin or Copper. They can be used in construction.
Appearance
Bronze Blocks are a dark yellow, metallic block.
Crafting
Since bronze blocks do not appear in a newly generated world, the must be crafted at a level 1 metalwork bench for five bronze ingots.

Appearance
Iron blocks are dark gray, metallic blocks.
Crafting
With iron blocks being unnatural, they must be crafted at a level 1 or higher metalwork bench, using five iron ingots.

A steel block is used in building and as a material for most electric components. They take approximately 90 minutes to break by hand, making them a useful block for PvP bases if enough are accumulated.
Appearance
Steel blocks are silvery-white in color, being metallic like any other metal block.
Crafting
Since steel blocks do not occur naturally, they can be crafted via level 2 metalwork bench with 5 steel ingots.

Prior to version 1.5.1, a non-electric metalwork bench could be used to make ten elevator shafts for one block of steel and ten copper wires, which was more steel-efficient than an electric metalwork bench.
