Appearance

A passenger car looks like a dark box on small wheels. A brown line along the bottom resembles a wooden floor, and a gap occupying most of the upper half serves as a window to see what is aboard.

Where Found

Passenger cars must be made on a train yard for four train wheels, one wood, and one iron block. In total, this amounts to 12 steel ingots, five iron ingots and one wood in total.

Use

As with the steam locomotive or freight car, a passenger car can only be placed on existing rails. It is three blocks wide, and so should be placed with at least a one rail to either side or it will immediately drop as a loose item. If placed close enough to another car or locomotive, they will automatically be linked. If not linked to a locomotive, a passenger car will sit idle.

To put a blockhead aboard, select the blockhead and tap the car to get a menu. "Remove" will cause the blockhead to pick up the car",Passenger Car" will cause the blockhead to board and sit patiently. Up to two blockheads can be aboard any one passenger car.

To have a blockhead exit a passenger car, select the blockhead and tap somewhere outside of the car. The blockhead will dismount, often grabbing and hanging from a nearby overhead block if it is close enough.

Achievements

The first time a player has a blockhead in multiplayer ride in a passenger car with a blockhead of another player, they will earn the achievement "Scenic Ride."
