Appearance
Carrots, in the game, look much like their real life counterparts and are easily recognizable. They have an orange triangular appearance with a green stem.
Where Found
Carrots are found by harvesting carrot plants located in the temperate and equatorial biome regions. They are also occasionally dropped by carrot plants or dying donkeys.
Farming
Harvesting of carrots may be done by hand or by machete or spade for maximum yield on a mature plant. This results in as many as five carrots. A mature carrot plant will eventually reduce to a young one, dropping a carrot in the process. Agriculturally, the vegetable can be placed in a block of dirt or compost to grow a carrot plant for producing additional carrots.
Use
Carrots will restore health and hunger bars when eaten. To make a blockhead eat, select the item in inventory to reveal "Eat" buttons over the blockhead and adjacent to the inventory, then tap the button to eat one of the item. If both bars are full, the buttons will disappear. Eating a carrot will restore about 20% of a blockhead's hunger bar.
Crafting
A carrot is used to craft a carrot on a stick at a craft bench.
