Stone is found underground. It changes its appearance after it is first harvested.
Uses
Stone is a common crafting material.
Like most blocks, stone can be used in construction.
Stone can be used to craft tailor's benches, furnaces, a press, mixing benches, dye benches, portals, and stone tools.
Notes
Below certain levels, a world will have a permanent, dominant "back wall" of stone. This can be referred to as "bedrock" and usually begins immediately below the bottom layers of dirt, sand, or water that make up the surface.
