- Sail the seas.
A boat is a good way to travel faster over water than by swimming.
How to Get
Boats are crafted at a level 2 Craft Bench. It requires two (2) wood and two (2) linen.
Using
To have a Blockhead put a boat in the water, it must first be selected in the Inventory. Tapping on or just above the surface of a body of water will place the boat there. Tapping on the boat will bring up a menu with two options.
The first option is 'Remove' and will return the boat to the Blockhead's Inventory.
The second option is 'Embark' and will place the Blockhead in the boat.
To travel in a boat, tip your device in the direction you want the Blockhead to go. (e.g. Tip to the left to go left.) Speed is controlled only imprecisely by the degree of tilt. Level the device to stop.
Tapping outside the boat will cause the Blockhead to climb out and go there, leaving the boat where it is.
Running aground (boating into a solid block at the same level as the block's upper surface) can make the Blockhead disembark and may return the boat to Inventory.
Notes
Boats do not wear out.
Boats cannot cross ice or other solid blocks.
A Blockhead in a boat will not pick up floating items even when passing through their space. Similarly, a boating Blockhead cannot perform other actions until it's left the boat.
