Mountain regions rise abruptly from the surrounding terrain. They have stone interiors and the larger ones have stone exteriors. Some mountains contain caves.
Climbing to the top of the tallest mountain of a world is an Achievement. Often the tall mountains are freezing and snowy, so don't ever forget your fur coat!
The presence of a mountain on the surface may indicate a rise in the level of magma or the frequency of various ores beneath it.
