A Shelf is an item that must be crafted.

Appearance

Once placed, a shelf looks to be two horizontal brown lines, one across the bottom and the other through the middle of its one-block space. The contents of a shelf are displayed in miniature according to how they're arranged in its storage spaces with no indication of how many of that item are stored.

Where Found

A shelf must be created at a woodwork bench.

It takes one (1) wood to make a shelf.

Uses

Used to store and display items. A shelf requires a back wall to be placed, but does not require an adjacent solid block. This allows them to be placed above crafting surfaces and other placed tools.
