A piece of charcoal looks like a blackened version of a stick.

Charcoal is crafted in either a kiln or an electric kiln, requiring 1 stick.

Ten charcoal are required to craft a furnace at a workbench.

Using a press, ten (10) pieces of charcoal can be turned into one unit of the pigment Carbon Black.

Uses
Charcoal is the second most efficient fuel for a furnace, after regular coal. It is the most efficient fuel for a kiln.
