Template:Block Infobox An iron trapdoor is an item created at a Metalwork Bench.

Appearance

An iron trapdoor, similarly to a trapdoor will take on some characteristics of an adjacent block or back wall. They will take on the appearance of the backwall of the block to the right, the backwall of the block to the left, or the backwall of its placement. Viewed at an angle, they appear to be hollow with a ladder from below and have a brown, wood-like design on their top surface.

Crafting

It is created using one Iron Block and one Ladder. While parts of it can take on the appearance of other blocks, the door itself always looks to be iron.

Uses

Iron trapdoors are construction blocks that allow the person who placed the iron door blockhead(s)to pass but are a barrier to creatures or other players. They can be removed with the appropriate tool applied to it.

A Blockhead passing through an iron trapdoor's location will automatically open and close it, although special circumstances may make it appear that the trapdoor is left open.

It can also be useful in multilayer as to allow only your Blockheads to pass through the trapdoor and not those of other players.
