Using
Like other crafting surfaces, a builder's bench must be placed on top of, next to, or below a solid block, on backwall, on top of, next to, or below another bench or chest, before it can be used.
Tapping on a builder's bench gives two options: Remove and Stonemason's Bench.
Remove causes the selected blockhead to move to the bench and place it in his/her inventory.
Builder's Bench opens the crafting menu, showing a left-right scrollable list of icons. See Crafting for details about how to use the menu. Tapping the "Craft" button (if visible) will add the task to the selected blockhead's queue.
Tapping outside of the menu will close the menu with no action taken.
Notes
In version 1.6, the stonemason's bench was renamed to the builder's bench with the addition of wood, glass, black glass, brick, carbon fiber, titanium, and platinum columns and stairs as well as the addition of level 2, moving all metal stairs to the new level.
