Vegetables are edible food items that a blockhead can harvest. Vegetables restore a medium amount of the hunger bar. Flax and sunflower seeds similarly grow on plants.

Where Found

The various vegetables, unlike fruit, are harvested from small plants instead of trees. They can be harvested by hand, machete, or spade. If the plants despawn themselves, they may also drop the corresponding vegetable.

Uses

Any vegetable may be eaten to restore part of a blockhead's hunger bar.

Any vegetable may be placed in a block of dirt, sand, or compost to spawn their parent plant. Kelp can be planted in any solid block, but only if it is under sufficient water.

All vegetables can be used in crafting.
