#REDIRECT [[Dodo]]
== Catching a dodo ==
To start a dodo farm, you must first obtain a dodo egg. These can be found, laid by a dodo or obtained by meditating.
Do not place the egg down yet or it will hatch soon after. You can put it away (chest, shelf, cabinet e.c.t) or hold onto in your inventory.
Starting with one or two eggs is more efficient although you can start with more if you wish.

Now you must build your farm. You may need some doors or ladders.
Step 1 Lay out you dirt/compost
Step 2 Plant the apples on the dirt/compost
Step 3 Add doors or walls to make sure the dodo(s) do not escape
Step 4 wait for apple trees to grow
Step 5 place dodo egg In farm

== Why? ==
The reason you use Apple trees is so that the dodo will not die on it's own. It may not lay eggs if it dies to fast.

== How? ==
To farm, wait for the dodo to lay an egg and kill it. Wait for egg to hatch and repeat.
Do NOT kill dodo before it lays the egg or you will need to obtain another egg.
