:::Tried a bow attack, using ladders to inch across to an overhead / out of reach position above it. Used up the whole bow and it still took several strokes from an iron sword to finish the bum. I'll need to carry multiple bows. --McClaw (talk) 05:50, 26 October 2013 (MDT) | :::Tried a bow attack, using ladders to inch across to an overhead / out of reach position above it. Any one else familiar with how cave trolls respond near lava? I have encountered one that was literally one stock block above magma. I pickaxed the stone, and rather than fall into the magma the cave troll retreated. Not sure if he would have done that anyway (i.e. if the magma hadn't been there), or if magma is an effective deterrent. --Nonnal (talk) 08:28, 7 January 2014 (MST) |
