==Use==
As with the steam locomotive or [[Passenger Car|passenger car]], a freight car can only be placed on existing rails. It is three blocks wide, and so should be placed with at least a one rail to either side or it will immediately drop as a loose item. If placed close enough to another car or locomotive, they will automatically be linked. If not linked to a locomotive, a freight car will sit idle.
Otherwise, a freight car functions similarly to a chest, allowing items to be stored in or removed from it.

The freight cart can carry any type of cargo, however in real life many different types of cars are used to carry many different types of cargo.
The freight cart can carry any type of cargo, however in real life many different types of cars are used to carry many different types of cargo. Most have more structure around and over the cargo.

It will not couple to the Hand Cart.

The freight cart is very odd in the fact that it has nothing on the sides and then a chest in the middle. Most cars have a side on it or a built up storage container. One of the only carts that copies the freight cart is the GWR Shunting Trucks.
The design is similar to a [[Rail Handcar|handcar]] with the central post and rocker replaced by a chest.
