Uses

Dodo Stew is one of the two most filling food items in the game, paralleling fish curry. When eaten, Dodo Stew fills a Blockhead's hunger bar nearly three quarters (3/4) of the way, and turns a Blockhead's hunger bar from green to golden (which appears yellow, actually). A golden food hunger bar shows that the Blockhead's hunger will remain stationary for a period of time, similar to an Blockhead's energy bar.
