South Pole
The South Pole is a snowy, icy part of the world marked by a blue and white striped pole extending 16 blocks up and down to bedrock. Reaching this landmark earns the player the South Pole achievement.
The pole itself is made of "background" blocks and can have oil lanterns, ladders, or other blocks placed on it.
