Gold Bow & Poison Arrows is a weapon used for ranged attacks. It was introduced in version 1.5.

Appearance

It is a gold curve with a green string. When it is the selected item, a blockhead can be seen holding it by the lower end of the curve, the string facing away.

Where Found

It can be crafted on a level 6 tool bench from 50 sticks, 5 gold ingots, 5 dodo feathers, and 5 poison.

With the gold bow selected, tapping on a target will fire an arrow into it. It has a maximum range, so if the target is out of range, the firing blockhead will move closer first. Each shot wears down the bow. Each bow lasts for 100 shots.

It is five times stronger than a copper bow. The arrows cannot miss, but it does provoke attacks from hostile creatures such as dropbears and scorpions.

Notes

When an arrow successfully despawns (kills) a target, any dropped items/bonuses will jump from where the target was to the blockhead that killed it.
