Overview
Each world starts with one portal through which the first Blockhead enters. The portal can subsequently be used to craft items, make in-app purchases, and warp in up to two additional Blockheads.
Crafting
With the proper resources, a portal can be used to "warp in" a variety of items. Without upgrades, the only item that can be obtained is a Workbench. With upgrades, a gem pickaxe or various ores or ingots can also be acquired.
Level 1 crafting options:
- Workbench - The Gateway to Crafting. (one dirt)
- Blockhead - Warp in up to 3 Blockheads! (100 time crystals, 10 food)
- Double-Time - Permanently doubles craft speed and halves rush cost for all crafting in all worlds. (US$2.99)
- Time Crystals - Purchase time crystals and save time. ($)
- Amethyst Upgrade - (one amethyst, 20 time crystals)
Level 2 crafting options:
- Amethyst Pickaxe - Get double from mining! (five amethysts, 20 time crystals)
- 20 Copper Ore - Warp in some copper. (50 time crystals)
- 20 Tin Ore - Tin delivered to your door. (50 time crystals)
- Sapphire Upgrade - (one sapphire, 40 time crystals)
Level 3 crafting options:
- Sapphire Pickaxe - Get triple from mining! (five sapphires, 40 time crystals)
- 20 Iron Ore - Iron without the mess. (50 time crystals)
- Emerald Upgrade - (one emerald, 60 time crystals)
Level 4 crafting options:
- Emerald Pickaxe - Get 4x from mining! (five emeralds, 60 time crystals)
- 10 Copper Ingots - Craft with copper. (50 time crystals)
- 10 Tin Ingots - Craft with tin. (50 time crystals)
- Ruby Upgrade - (one ruby, 80 time crystals)
Level 5 crafting options:
- Ruby Pickaxe - Get 5x from mining! (one ruby, 80 time crystals)
- 10 Bronze Ingots - Craft with bronze. (50 time crystals)
- 10 Iron Ingots - Craft with iron. (50 time crystals)
- Diamond Upgrade - (one diamond, 100 time crystals)
Level 6 crafting options:
- Diamond Pickaxe - Get 6x from mining! (five diamonds, 100 time crystals)
- 10 Steel Ingots - For a better pickaxe. (50 time crystals)
In-App Purchases
Double-Time is available for purchase for a stated price of US$2.99.
Additional time crystals are available for an unstated price.
Upgrades
Portal upgrades require a gem of the correct type and time crystals. The progression of upgrades seems to parallel the rarity of the gems used.
Warp In Blockhead
You can warp in up to three total Blockheads. The first Blockhead in a world is always free, the next two cost 100 time crystals and 10 food items. The specific food items may vary depending on the world and the portal's location.
