A Coconut is a renewable resource food item that can be planted or consumed. When consumed, it restores Health and Hunger to a Blockhead. The fruit can also be placed in a block of dirt or compost to grow a Coconut tree for farming additional coconuts.

Appearance

Coconuts appear in game like their hulled, brown husked counterparts in real life, complete with three face-like markings on the end.

Farming

Coconuts appear seasonally. They can be harvested by tapping on them (and having your Blockhead climb the tree), walking through the block they're in (if the tree is short enough), or felling the tree and picking them up from where they fall on the ground.

Where Found

They grow as fruits at the top of coconut trees in tropical, temperate, and equatorial biome regions.

Trivia

The round, brown, three-stoma version of a coconut familiar to those who see them in grocery stores is the inner part of the tree's fruit. A growing coconut is covered by a thick, fibrous husk (exocarp) with a green to brown color.
