Sand is a mottled yellow colored block.

Where Found

A Blockhead can find sand in desert biomes or beaches adjacent to and/or underneath some bodies of water. Small deposits can be found almost anywhere, as it effectively substitutes for dirt.

Gathering

It's best harvested using a spade, although there is no loss associated with using anything else. A gold spade will produce occasional bonuses.

Crafting

Sand can be processed in a Kiln to make Glass.
