If you do not have a Mac, however, you can go to blockserver.net and create a server. They charge $0.20 USD a day, per world, and you can have up to 16 players on at once. BlockServer does allow whitelisting/blacklisting. For more about BlockServer, go to http://blockserver.net/faq.

Multiplayer mode lets the player play "The Blockheads" with other players. There are three ways to play with others: Game Center, Local Network, and Online Server.

Game Center

Using Game Center, the player can invite one friend to play with them on the player's world, join another player on their world, or, as of 1.3, be randomly matched with another person using auto-match. To invite a second player, their device must be on the same version of iOS and have the same version of The Blockheads as the player's and must have Game Center notifications turned on. If the connection is deemed by the app to be too slow to handle voice chat, it will be deactivated automatically for that session. Game Center multiplayer is not available on Android.

Local Network

Local Network allows players to play with other players on the same network connection. It does not support voice chat, but does support text chat. The devices may use the same Game Center account, but must specify different nicknames. Local network multiplayer is not available on Android.

Online Server

Online Server allows players to connect to a server hosted on a Mac using the online server app. It requires the server's IP or domain and the server port to connect.
