A prickly pear is a spiny fruit and resource food item that can be planted or consumed. When consumed, it restores health and hunger to a Blockhead.
Appearance
Prickly pears are recognizable by their round reddish appearance with white hairlike spines on its outer skin.
Where Found
Prickly pears are found growing on cacti located in the desert biome regions. They tend to appear on the upper end of a cactus' branches and often spawn in pairs.
Farming
Prickly pears grow randomly on cacti and are harvested by hand. Climbing a cactus to harvest a prickly pear will result in a Blockhead sustaining Health damage. Agriculturally, the fruit can be placed in a block of sand or compost to grow a cactus for farming additional prickly pears.
