A Carrot is a renewable resource food item that can be planted, consumed or used in crafting. When consumed, it restores Health and Hunger to a Blockhead.
Appearance
Carrots, in the game, look much like their real life counterparts and are easily recognizable. They have an orange triangular appearance with a green stem.
Where Found
Carrots are found by harvesting carrot plants located in the temperate and equatorial biome regions. They are also occasionally dropped by carrot plants or dying donkeys.
Farming
Harvesting of carrots may be done by hand or by machete for maximum yield on a mature plant. This results in as many as five carrots. A mature carrot plant will eventually reduce to a young one, dropping a carrot in the process. Agriculturally, the vegetable can be placed in a block of dirt or compost to grow a carrot plant for producing additional carrots.

Notes
Donkeys may spawn in the vicinity of growing carrot plants.
