A Coffee Cherry is a renewable resource food item that can be planted, consumed, or used in crafting.
Appearance
The coffee cherry appears as a small round magenta fruit.
Where Found
Coffee cherries are typically found in the equatorial biome growing on coffee cherry trees. They are a late summer / early fall crop that spawns after apples.
Farming
Coffee cherries grow seasonally on coffee cherry trees and are harvested by hand. Coffee cherries may also be collected by felling the tree that bears the fruit and picking them up from the ground. Agriculturally, the fruit can be placed in a block of dirt or compost to grow a coffee cherry tree for farming additional coffee cherries.
Eating
The coffee cherry is edible restoring Health, Hunger, and Energy to a Blockhead.
Crafting
The coffee cherry can be processed in a press to produce a green coffee bean which is the beginning of the process to create coffee.
