The refinery is a crafting surface which you use mainly to craft different materials while using up oil. A refinery is two blocks tall and accepts power from the bottom part, although it looks like it is connected, power will not flow into the machine when active. It is different from the other benches because it must be placed on a solid surface (block) and most benches can be placed on a back wall. However, a refinery will not drop when the block below it is removed. A refinery cannot be placed where there is glass panes.
Energy Usage
Refineries use quite a lot of power to craft items. It would be suggested to use steam generators to handle the power demand. When active, big, black particles will start coming out of the refinery instead of small, white particles.
