A refinery is a bench which you use mainly to craft carbon fibre. You can craft epoxy, fuel, carbon fibres, carbon fibre sheets, and raw resin. A refinery is two blocks tall. It is different from the other benches because it must be placed on a solid surface (block) and most benches can be placed on a back wall. However, a refinery will not drop when the block below it is removed. A refinery cannot be placed where there is glass panes.
