A carrot is a renewable resource food item that can be planted or consumed. When consumed, it restores Health and Hunger to your Blockhead. The vegetable can also be placed in a block of dirt or compost to grow a carrot plant for farming additional carrots.

Appearance

Carrots, in the game, look much like their real life counterparts and are easily recognizable. They have an orange triangular appearance with a green stem.

Farming

Maximum yield when harvesting carrots is achieved by using a machete on a mature plant. This results in as many as four carrots. A mature carrot plant will eventually reduce to a young one, dropping a carrot in the process.

Crafting

A Carrot is used to craft A Carrot On A Stick. Template:Craft Table

Where Found

Carrots are found growing on carrot plants located in the temperate biodome region.

Notes

Donkeys may spawn in the vicinity of growing carrot plants.
