Appearance

Carrots in the game look much like they do in real life so you won't have any trouble recognizing them. The mature plant has a white tuft on top when ready for picking with maximum yield.

Farming

Maximum yield when harvesting carrots is achieved by using a machete on a mature plant. This results in as many as four carrots.

A mature carrot plant will eventually reduce to a young one, dropping a carrot in the process.

Crafting

Carrots can be used to create a carrot on a stick item.

Other Uses

Carrots are edible, restoring Health and Hunger bars.

Planting a carrot in a block of dirt will spawn a small carrot plant, which will eventually mature.

Notes

donkeys may spawn in the vicinity of growing carrot plants.
