Sand is a mottled yellow colored block.

Where Found

A Blockhead can find sand in desert biomes or beaches adjacent to some bodies of water. Small deposits can be found almost anywhere, as it effectively substitutes for dirt.

Gathering

It's best harvested using a spade, although there is no loss associated with using anything else. A gold spade will produce occasional bonuses.

Crafting

Sand can be processed in a Kiln to make Glass.
