Appearance
Carrots in the game look much like they do in real life so you won't have any trouble recognizing them. The mature plant has a white tuft on top when ready for picking with maximum yield.
Farming
Maximum yield when harvesting carrots is achieved by using a machete on a mature plant. This results in as many as four carrots.
Crafting
Carrots can be used to create a carrot on a stick item.
Other Uses
Carrots are edible, restoring Health and Hunger bars.
Planting a carrot in a block of dirt will spawn a small carrot plant, which will eventually mature.
Notes
donkeys may spawn in the vicinity of growing carrot plants.
