A gold coin is currency used in the game. They can be found in Golden Chests.
Crafting
Ten gold coins are made from one gold ingot using a furnace. This also works in reverse, making gold ingots from ten gold coins.
One (1) gold coin and one (1) wood block can be used to make a shop.
Exchanging
At a portal, a single gold coin can be exchanged for 100 copper coins. The reverse is also possible, exchanging 100 copper coins for one gold coin.
