Donkeys are the most handy creature in the game. These stubborn animals can be ridden if controlled with a carrot on a stick.
Killing a donkey can produce leather and/or carrots. It takes three blows from a spear to kill an adult donkey, or four blows from a bronze machete or eight to nine empty-handed blows.
Donkeys will bray at unpredictable times, or when dying. Young donkeys have a higher-pitched bray.
They spawn in the vicinity of growing carrot plants.
