A player uses their Apple ID to sign in to the Game Center. Meeting an achievement's requirements while not signed in may result in that achievement not being recorded.

Game Center, as an Apple feature, is not available on Android implementations of The Blockheads. An alternative called Google Play Games is present, instead.
