A stub is an article that is ''missing'' information or has ''incomplete'' information — this has nothing to do with length: short articles are not necessarily stubs and long articles are not necessarily complete.

As a rule of thumb, use this template sparingly:
* Don't use a stub on a new article or if it's generally obvious that the article is incomplete.
* Do use the stub when an article ''appears'' substantially complete, but isn't.
** Always include as the first parameter the things that are missing from the article.
** Generally remove the tag if it does not include the reason and you cannot add them yourself.

Usage

{{stub}}

A stub is an article that is missing information or has incomplete information — this has nothing to do with length: short articles are not necessarily stubs and long articles are not necessarily complete.

As a rule of thumb, use this template sparingly:

  • Don't use a stub on a new article or if it's generally obvious that the article is incomplete.
  • Do use the stub when an article appears substantially complete, but isn't.
    • Always include as the first parameter the things that are missing from the article.
    • Generally remove the tag if it does not include the reason and you cannot add them yourself.

Category

This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:Stubs.
