A nonrenewable resource is a material in The Blockheads that a blockhead cannot reproduce infinitely or cannot obtain at all. The opposite of a nonrenewable resource is a renewable resource.

List of nonrenewable resources

The following resources are not renewable (some can't even be obtained):

  • Air (the default fill, cannot be obtained as an item)
  • Magma (cannot be obtained as an item)

Notes

All other blocks and items are either obtainable through meditation, purchased at a trade portal, or can be created in infinite amount.

As an infinite number of worlds can be created, an infinite amount of reward clothing can be transported in through portal chests from other worlds, as new worlds can be created for the sole purpose of supplying existing ones.

Prior to version 1.5, many other items were nonrenewable, such as stone and marble. The introduction of the trade portal allows an infinite amount of these items to be bought. Meditation and the trade portal has left the terms "renewable" and "nonrenewable" somewhat irrelevant.

As of version 1.7, special clothing items are now renewable as well as consumable.
