Apple trees are one of several fruit-bearing trees that can be found growing on dirt or planted in compost.
Where Found
Apple trees initially grow in temperate regions but will also grow successfully in equatorial areas.
Appearance
Apple trees have brown/gray trunks and green leaves. As the seasons change, the color of the leaves will also change to reflect the appropriate season. Some trunk blocks will have leaves overlaying them, but they are still part of the trunk. There may be apples hanging upon the leaves.
Farming
Apple trees will bear apples from its leaves during summer and fall. Apples, if in season, are harvested by hand and can be collected by passing through their space or when adjacent to the apple after it was tapped on. They do not require nor do they benefit from using any particular tools. Apple trees die similarly to other trees. They rarely produce sticks or wood as they despawn.
