A mixing bench is a crafting surface that allows the creation of paint, which allows blocks to be recolored.
Where Found
A mixing bench can be created at a level 3 workbench for one stone, one tin bucket, and five oil. Prior to version 1.5, it was instead crafted at a level 2 workbench. The mixing bench created will be at its lowest level until it is upgraded. A mixing bench has a total of 3 levels.
