A Tulip bulb is a renewable resource food item that can be planted.
They were introduced in version 1.6.
Appearance
The small seeds are similar to oil and poison in appearance, but are wider and shorter. They have a glossy mahogany color.
Where Found
Tulip bulbs are harvested from tulips located in nearly all warm biome regions.
Uses
Tulip bulbs can be used for farming purposes and for decoration but cannot be consumed.
Farming
Tulip bulbs are random products of tulip that grow seasonally and are harvested by hand or machete for maximum yield. Agriculturally, the bulbs can be placed in a block of dirt, sand, or compost to grow a tulip for farming additional bulbs and seeds. See tulip for more harvesting details.
