Flying birds would add alot to the game's atmosphere, and more bows to kill those birds or dropbears. If volcanoes are added then they should have a lot of ore, rare ore is near the magma, common ore near the top. Volcanoes produce ash that is a substitute to compost, but a bit worse, and it doesn't have any worms. Volcanoes will erupt once or twice and destroy everything in an area of 500 blocks and turn water into new land. Volcanic eruptions last for 20 in-game days and once over can be repopulated, and the ash will be there replacing some of the dirt. The island/s near the volcanoe will be completely destroyed (no trees, no fish nearby, no animals,no grass on dirt and plants)but the plants and trees can be replanted, and due to the ash they'll grow quicker.
