 As the name implies, the center of the world lies deep underground. While there may be an [[Caving|open passage]] that reaches it, a [[blockhead]] must usually be tasked with digging its way there.
-I find it best to use a bronze, iron, gold, or any gem pick-ax to go down because of their ability ti mine quickly through stone and other items. Also, the more items you retrieved at the poles around the world (eg. South Pole Boots of speed, etc.) I reached the bottom of the earth many times, including one long shaft with a ladder right through my house under my portal and all the way into space, this was all before the update where enabled blockheads to be able to die.
