Apple trees initially grow in temperate regions but will also grow successfully in equatorial [[Biome|areas]].

Apple trees have brown/gray trunks and green [[leaves]]. As the seasons change, the color of the leaves will also change to reflect the appropriate season. Some trunk blocks will have leaves overlaying them, but they are still part of the trunk. There may be [[apple]]s hanging upon the leaves.

Apple trees will bear apples from its leaves during summer and fall. Apples, if in season, are harvested by hand and can be collected by passing through their space or when adjacent to the apple after it was tapped on. They do not require nor do they benefit from using any particular [[Items#Tools|tools]]. Agriculturally, the fruit can be placed in a block of [[dirt]] or [[compost]] to grow an apple tree for farming additional applies or can be eaten to replenish a [[Blockhead|Blockhead's]] [[Hunger Bar|Hunger]] and [[Health Bar|Health]] bars.

Apple trees die similarly to other trees. They rarely produce sticks or wood as they despawn.
