Some actions default to hand use (no tool) by their nature, such as [[harvesting]] fruit or picking up loose [[item]]s. A hand can therefore also be considered a type of tool. However, using a hand is not as efficient as using the respective tool for the object being harvested, as it is slower and sometimes produces a lower yield than when a tool is used(e.g. using a hand to mine an ore).
